Facebook hours for Saturday: 09:00–16:00. Sunday: 08:00–16:00. If you are in the habit of “the weekend” as one blob, that hour matters. A 08:20 Saturday breakfast attempt is a closed door on the times they published. A 08:20 Sunday breakfast is inside the listed open, if they have not posted a change.
The High Street on a Saturday is busier than a Wednesday. Humphrey Bean will be doing pub hours next door. This cafe is still a 4pm finish. Market days, football days and castle-event days are not printed on their Facebook hours table. If the pavement is packed, the fryer is not automatically staying on.
What Saturday is for, on their posts
They have not published a separate Saturday menu. Expect the same breakfast, wraps, sausage rolls and cake as any other open day, plus whatever special they put on Instagram that morning. Afternoon tea still wants a social-media booking if that is what you wanted. Walk-in coffee does not.
Monday is not the day after Saturday here. Monday is not listed. If you wanted leftovers of the weekend in cafe form, you are waiting until Wednesday 08:00 on the current table, unless they say otherwise.
